    Hello everyone.
    I would like to ask that you visit Quazar BBS. telnet://208.115.145.74 or via the web at http://www.quazarbbs.com .
    I may not have all of the bells and whistles others have, I've just started back into running my BBS after many many years. I used to run in Germany, Upstate NY, Korea and in Phoenix. Now I am back.
    Please take a visit, I would like to hear any comments or suggestions you may have.

    hey, is there some reason why you are forwarding your domain to that 208. ip address? you could just a CNAME and do bbs.quazarbbs.com

    also i'm not so sure sending email to an ip address is gonna work out for you without problems in the long run.

    Yes, I actually host quazarbbs.com at a web server company.
    I must admit, I do not know how to change the CNAME in there
    to reflect an IP Address Pointer to my local IP address
    using the TELNET function. It always tells me it's a redirect
    for http:// . If you use http://bbs.quazarbbs.com it will work
    ... but in the control panel of my web host, changing the CNAME
    will only let me change it for http but not for telnet...
    Do you know how do make said change for telnet ?

    You do it with your registrar. you're using tucows, so it should be pretty easy.
