This is a GREAT concert story.

Bauhaus was the original goth band. Without Bauhaus there'd be no Nine Inch Nails or Marilyn Manson or any of that crap.

Anyway...in 1983, Bauhaus broke up & after a few solo projects, etc. they all did other things (Peter Murphy - the singer - went totally solo, the other 3 guys became Love & Rockets).

So...I was at a Love & Rockets concert @ the Fillmore in San Francisco (a lot of great and famous bands have played there over the years...especially in the 60's when the Fillmore was really hot)...

...Anyway, they started playing one of their hit songs from that particular album ("Earth - Sun - Moon"), "Mirror People" & Daniel Ash (the guitar player) was playing the exact guitar he used in the video ( a silvery, shiny Charvel guitar) & some dumb bitch jumped up on stage & started attacking him. After security pulled her off him, he was so pissed that he offed the guitar & threw it into the audience. Well, me and my friend just happened to be right there & we caught it! Of course, two seconds after that, the crowd mobbed us & started to grab the guitar.

So...Security came and got the guitar & my friend & I had the best hold of it...Daniel had actually seen us catch it. & so, Daniel was screaming at Security to let me & my friend on stage & we're like, "Hell Ya!"...but security wouldn't let us. Then, he told them to let us back stage & they wouldn't budge...

Anyway, that's how I got a hold of Daniel Ash's guitar & ALMOST met Love & Rockets...

Well...If you read that, you'd notice that Bauhaus broke up & Became Peter Murphy (solo) & Love & Rockets (the rest of the band)...
