    Last year, I found out about Zynthian, which makes kits for building a music synthesizer based on a Raspberry Pi. I bought one of their v4.6 kits and a Raspberry Pi and built one, and I think it's pretty cool. Recently, I saw they have a new version (v5), and it looks pretty cool. I'm thinking about buying one when they become available to the general public:
