For square dance information in Arkansas, and the surrounding/nearby states of Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas, go to https://www.arkansassquaredance.com

On this page you'll find the following items:

    1) The ASSDF - Current Officers (yours truly is the Editor of the monthly e-Edition publication, The Modern Square, plus the Webmaster, and Circulation Chairman

    2) Clubs -- List of all current ASSDF Clubs, where and when they dance, etc.

    3) New Dancers -- Information on upcoming classes for square dancing, round dancing, line dancing, or clogging

    4) Upcoming Events -- Special Dances in Arkansas and the surrounding states noted above

    5) Resources -- Information on the National Square Dance Convention (R), Dancer Insurance, and other items. There is also a link to "The Modern Square", where you can download any of these 3 "flavors", all in PDF format.

    A) Full e-Edition -- like the original print edition (which is no longer being published due to postage and printing costs), with flyers for special dances, ads, and promotional items for the next National Square Dance Convention (R). This file can be rather large in size.

    B) Compact e-Edition -- same as above, but WITHOUT the National Square Dance Convention (R) related items, or the special dance flyers. This is for those who have a metered internet connection, or limited space on their smartphone. Only the current month issue is available -- back issues to July, 2023, are available via email request to assdfmodernsquare at gmail dot com

    C) Special Dances e-Edition -- photos from ASSDF Club Special Dances over the last month. This file can be rather large in size.

These are FREE, but if you enjoy the e-Edition, you're asked to make a $5 donation to help with the yearly website related expenses, currently over $300, with the licensing fee for Microsoft 365, the website domain, website hosting, and security fees. All websites have to pay these fees...if they fail to do so, their domain can be taken over by such things as malware producers, scammers, or even pornographic sites.

Further information on ads, etc. is inside the publication.
