Antiandrogens-like finasteride or dutasteride, do reduce the size and metabolic activity
of the prostate, don t shrink things a lot but do help with symptoms.

Surgical procedures don t shrink things, they destroy things creating more room: TURP
(most effective, most side effects), Green Laser, Cryotherapy, Urolift.

Each has its place and its adherents. If you re going to have something like this done, go
to the local guy who has the most experience.
