I've tried people and AI for recommendations for games. Both have made me decide to give up and spend my time elsewhere. I won't play anything with cards, strategy, puzzles, reflexes required, must be easy, but still really fun. No parodies. I must be able to save the game every 10-15 minutes. Nothing meets all of those categories...

It's very difficult to find you something to play if you have all those requirements. If you boot up a game with a shopping list of requirements, you're going to be disappointed. To me, it sounds like there's an issue with how you're going about this. Gaming is just a fun activity to do

I have some classic games, I think my birthday present 30 years ago was a copy of Earthworm Jim
1 and 2 for the PC.
Who needs a PS1 when you have the PC.
I think there are still some games that were only available for the PS1
that weren't available for the PC. But if you have a PC, you can run a
PS1 emulator to play them. :)

Yes, ever since Bleem in 1999 :).
I remember buying a copy of Bleem when it was available in stores. And I heard Sony sued the company that made Bleem, so they had to stop selling it. I also remember another PS1 emulator called Connectix Virtual Game Station.. These days there are other PS1 emulators available (and
they're free). I thought Bleem was cool though because it attempted to improve the graphics of the PS1 games in real-time.
Has anyone tried the Dolphin emulation software? My son and I were thinking of using it to play some old Nintendo titles. Looks pretty good, but haven't tried it out yet.
I think Dolphin is for Nintendo Wii, isn't it? I remember trying it on a handheld device I have.
