The Vintage Computer Fair is this weekend in Mountain View, CA. I'm
going to be in the area that morning and debating about going. I'd
gone to the last two before Covid and went last year. I don't think I
felt like I saw anything new, and the sales area was much smaller
than I remembered.
Maybe I'll wait it out another year.

Long as we're bringing that up (and I know this is a late reply so
please forgive me if someone else asked)... anyone going to VCF
MIDwest?
A few of us will be heading out to that one.

Well, you already know I'm planning on going - God willing and the
creek don't rise. :)

Correct. However, even with my 4WD, it can affect *getting* to the airport...! :)

Well, you should be at the airport already if you want to get through
the TSA screening by September 9th, right?

Geez...I really hope it's not that bad this year. I've had some odd encounters with that bunch. I got pulled out of line one time so they
could scan me for "nuclear" traces, believe it or not...

Wow... so they really do listen to the messages left on the anonymous
tip line.
