Is the issue that 7 days is too often, or is the issue that people are ignoring that suggestion and posting more frequently? If it is the latter lifting the number upwards won't fix much.

Ah I didnt notice 7 days to post, I am posting Daily because I noticed most do.

Now I adjusted my Ads to once every week ^^, sry.

What about my newfile MOD, it only posts when there are new files. Should that be weekly/daily?

    oP!

Ah I didnt notice 7 days to post, I am posting Daily because I noticed most do.

I'm leaning towards changing the suggested frequency to every 14 days, so twice a month vs four times... I think that may be a happy compromise.

    No worries.

either is fine but I lean towards weekly.

    thanks :)

Sorry, I also did not notice the 7 day thing either. I have changed my setup to once a week as well.

However, if you do change the suggestion to 14 days, would you mind help me figure our how to set that up in Mystic Event editor. Seems easy to set it for once a week, not sure how I can set it up for 14 days.

that's a good question as I think the limit for interval with Mystic events may well be one week.

I'm not at Linux cron/crontab guru but perhaps there may be a way there... if it's too problematic we'll need to rethink frequency I guess.

I do know in Windows I have used task scheduler to do some of that sort of stuff in the past.

Oh that's true, I guess I could create a cron job. Didn't think about that. thanks.

Unfortunately the event manager of Mystic doesnt allow 14 days, everything is in a 7 day week setup. I'd love to keep using the event driven system.

I use cron for a lot of my synchronet tasks. Its scheduling is probably sufficient but, as I use cron for some non-synchronet stuff it just seemed easier.
