A user brought it to my attention today that he couldn't upload a file.

I just have a simple menu command to upload a file:

(FU) Upload File

I only have 1 file base, but when someone tries to upload it tells them:
"You must select a file base first!" (generic string)

It used to work, so I'm not sure what I did to mess that up.

I tried to fix it by making a FIRSTCMD that sets the file base to 1, but it
had no effect.

Anyone dealt with this before? If not, any suggestion on something I should look into?

Do you have your Upload Base defined in Config > File Base Settings? You need the upload base ID number there.

Do you have the correct Start File Group set up in Config > New User Settings?

I had the path to the uploads folder wrong. But it was easy to find that mistake thanks to you pointing me in the right direction - Thank you!
