    Im sure there is, but is there an APP to use that one can READ/Write messages from there bbs without having to always login to read. 32bit
    GoldEdit? links would be nice too if possible :)

    There are editors you can use to read and reply outside of the BBS. Timed, Golded and msged come quickly to mind and there are others also.

    In most cases they are not to hard to configure. Adding the message areas is the hardest part. It's not really hard but you may have to add each area individually and that can take some doing.

    Yea been looking at GoldEd+ & adding areas does seem to be the most time
    consuming part. Used that during old bbs days, setup and all is tad
    different but working on that. Will make it easier then logging in all the
    time to read and reply to messages :) So far looks like ansi doesnt display
    right/add-on maybe or setting

    Might check those others also.

    I will send you the GoldEd I use on windows. However, I could almost
    swear Mystic has a command line switch to start it in reader mode?
    Keep in mind I haven't run it in years, but I have a memory of doing
    that.

    Actually had GoldEd, just grabbed GoldEd+ & all setup now, Makes reading
    local mail/echos alot easier thats for sure :) Still fine tuning here & there
    but seems to work nice.
    Have no clue on internal command line switch options for this, but that
    could be cool too if there is,dont thing so thou.

    I may be totally thinking of something else.

    Believe there was/is a bbs that does/did have that command line reading
    option.
