I was trying to SSH into another BBS, my telnet/ssh client asks for a login and password for the SSH session, is that just what I would use to normally login to that particular BBS? Second, what are SSH keys? Do I need one?If the other BBS is running mystic you can login as NEW/NEW if you don't have an account, otherwise yes it is your regular login credentials.

I would say most BBSes do not require SSH keys for authentication
(logging in), instead only a username (some even skip this) and possibly
a password. The login details would have to be supplied by the SysOp of the BBS to the visitors by some other means (BBS ads etc.).
