    Check your MUTIL ini file. It has an ads message section.

    I don't have anything like "ads" in any .ini file.

    In mutil.ini you'll see:

    [General]
    [...]
    PostTextFiles = false
    [...]

    And then further down:

    [PostTextFiles]
    totalfiles = 2

    file1_name = myfile.txt
    file1_baseidx = 2
    file1_from = Sysop
    file1_to = All
    file1_subj = My subject
    file1_addr = 0:0/0
    file1_delfile = false
    [...]

    Copy those sections to another file (e.g.: bbsad.ini), update the entries as appropriate (false to true, etc) and you're in business.

    Hi Richard

    Can you check your 'sender' FTN address is correct when you reply using GoldED please :) I can see your replies sent via your Mystic BBS that are created in GoldED are coming from your Fidonet AKA 1:154/110 but you really should send echomail replies in fsxNet using your fsxNet AKA of 21:1/206 :)

    Thanks for your help with this one.

    Best, Paul

    You would have receive it because it was sent with the wrong FTN address.

    The way I've sent up clrghouz, it'll reject mail from an address it doesnt recognise (for an echo in a zone).

    Ahh, yes, wouldnt. Dont you find that "not" often does appear when writing things? Its like the fingers refuse to operate those "key" buttons needed for the intent of a sentence (and I know I think it)...

    so he would have got it? But reports he didn't?

    so it doesn't get passed along to NET 3 nodes?

    Sorry, I'm a tad confused... but it is Sunday morning here :)

    Yup, the key there is the missing *NOT*.

    The hub that sent the offending message to me (and possibly all 3), would have received a netmail back from clrghouz indiciating that the message was not processed because zone 1 doesnt exist in fsxnet.

    Ultimately I need to change that to send a message to the author. I actually created that to help (?) new sysops with their setup and be notified immediately when their echomails had the wrong address (something I see often). I didnt consider the situation that the come via another hub...

    I sometimes have a hard time reading "not", like when deciding what to eat, can't see "This is 'not' for human consumption"
