I don't have anything like "ads" in any .ini file.
In mutil.ini you'll see:
[General]
[...]
PostTextFiles = false
[...]
And then further down:
[PostTextFiles]
totalfiles = 2
file1_name = myfile.txt
file1_baseidx = 2
file1_from = Sysop
file1_to = All
file1_subj = My subject
file1_addr = 0:0/0
file1_delfile = false
[...]
Copy those sections to another file (e.g.: bbsad.ini), update the
entries as appropriate (false to true, etc) and you're in business.

Did you even look in your mutil.ini file?

doesnt recognise (for an echo in a zone).
You would have receive it because it was sent with the wrong FTN address.so he would have got it? But reports he didn't?
so it doesn't get passed along to NET 3 nodes?
Sorry, I'm a tad confused... but it is Sunday morning here :)

Ahh, yes, wouldnt. Dont you find that "not" often does appear when
writing things? Its like the fingers refuse to operate those "key"
buttons needed for the intent of a sentence (and I know I think it)...
