  • Retiring echomail areas

    Hi guys

    I have delinked all NET 1 and NET 4 nodes from the echomail areas being retired today in fsxNet. The bases can no longer be Areafixed / linked to etc. at these HUBs.

    Admin in NET's 2,3, and 5 will be working in the coming 24 hours to do the same.

    Please ensure you either delete the retired echomail areas from your BBS OR make sure you set the retired bases to 'read only' status so no further messages are posted to them / sent out from your system to your fsxNet HUB for any of those retired areas.

    The following echomail areas have now been retired

    FSX_ENG ENiGMA 1/2 BBS Support/Dev
    FSX_MAG Talisman BBS Support/Dev
    FSX_LFE Lifestyle
    FSX_MUSIC Music
    FSX_SPACE Space/Astronomy
    FSX_STA Echomail + Network Stats
    FSX_FIL File Announcements


    fsxnet.nz has been updated, the infopack and FSXNET.NA file has also been updated.

    You may want to check you have the current message base names set correctly for your fsxNet echomail areas... there were a few tweaks.

    Yep that's correct, a few of those have changed a little... details in history.txt
