Friday will bring a breezy day across Connemara with a mix of clouds and occasional sunny spells, particularly during the afternoon. Patchy light fog will affect inland valleys through the morning hours before lifting. A few light scattered showers are possible, mainly during the morning, but most areas will stay dry with any rainfall amounts remaining minimal at less than 2 mm. Temperatures will reach 14-19?C, warmest in the more sheltered eastern areas around Oughterard and Letterfrack, while coastal and island locations remain cooler at 14-15?C. North to north-northeast winds will be fresh and gusty, reaching 22-28 kph with gusts to 35-42 kph, strongest along western coasts and the islands.
Tomorrow night will see winds gradually easing after midnight as cloud cover increases from the west. Patchy fog will develop after midnight, particularly in sheltered valleys.
