Wednesday will be a mostly cloudy and windy day across Connemara with scattered rain or drizzle at times. Temperatures will struggle in the cool conditions, reaching only 9-12?C in most areas with the mildest temperatures along the south coast. Winds will be fresh to strong from the west-northwest, gusting 50-55 kph in exposed areas, maintaining a significant wind chill factor. The best chance of any drier spells will be during late morning and early afternoon when rain becomes more intermittent.

Cloud will remain thick for most of the day with extensive low cloud and mist over higher ground. Rain will be most persistent during the early hours and again late afternoon through evening.
