Hi All!

While I have not been very active lately in the message echos, I have been
busy working on some new projects. :)

Crazy Eights Slot Machine, is a simple slot machine door game, that I was working on instead of finishing other projects that have been in the works
for months... :)

I do have it online here at CRBBS, on the Panther's Playground menu. Feel free to stop by and take a look.

I will also be sending both Linux and Windows versions to Paul to hatch out. Both versions include all the source code needed to compile yourself, if you wish. I will also have this available on my github page as well as most of my other programs I've written.

If you run into any issues, please let me know, either here or create an
issue on github. I tried a few different things in this game that were experimental (at least for me), so I want to make sure everything works for
you as well.

Other projects are in the works, so stay tuned for more announcements. (as
long as I don't start any other projects...) One of which, has been a huge undertaking, and a lot of fun to work on. I'm looking forward to sharing more information with all of you soon. Until then, waste some time playing Crazy Eights Slot Machine! ;)

Try as I might I could not get it to load in Synchronet. It compiled just
fine and the dorinfo1.def is in the slots directory but it keeps saying it can't find the drop file.

Nope, also says it can't find the dropfile.

Ok, I've done a bunch of testing. I'm guessing the dropfile is in all capital letters?

Try renaming it to all lowercase and give it a shot.

Yes, the dropfile is in all CAPS, it works when converted to lowercase. Thanks.

Yes, the dropfile is in all CAPS, it works when converted to lowercase. Thanks.

I'm glad it worked. I'm still trying to figure out why it doesn't like the dropfile to be in uppercase though...
