▓█▌ one to use PCBoard. I was 16, full of hormones, teenage angst, and a ▐▓▌
▓█▌ general kewlness only a teenager can have. ▓▌

▐▓▌ After rebuilding my second BBS, the Kuehlbox, in 2015, I decided to ▐▓
▐▓▌ give PCBoard on modern systems a try. ▐▓
▐▓▌ And so, in 2019, Da CyberDawg was back online, 24 years later. ▐▓
▐▓▌ Some time later, I was contacted by a dude called Mike, who wanted ▐▓
█▓▌ to rewrite PCBoard from scratch in Rust for cross-platform and █▓
▓█ 64-bit support. ▓▌
▓█ I really didn't think this would lead to anything usable anytime ▓▌
▓█ soon, but in 2026, I was proven wrong: IcyBoard, as it's called, is ▓▌
▓█ now a perfectly usable and sexy alternative to the dusty old and/or ▓▌
▓█ underdeveloped systems out there. ▓▌
▓▌ And since Windows dropped its 32-bit version (and therefore 16-bit ▓▌ ▐▓▌ support), I took the opportunity to migrate my original PCBoard BBS █▓ ▐▓▌ to IcyBoard, rewriting all the PPEs, restructuring things, fixing ▐▓ ▐▓█ bugs and inconsistencies, adding a whole lot of new features, and ▐▓ ▐▓█ going public just in time for Halloween and the release of IcyBoard █▓

▐▓▌ Some time later, I was contacted by a dude called Mike, who wanted ▐▓
█▓▌ to rewrite PCBoard from scratch in Rust for cross-platform and █▓

█▓▌ to rewrite PCBoard from scratch in Rust for cross-platform and █▓
