    SUPERBOLT SPARKS SPRITES AND ELVES: A superbolt of lightning over the Adriatic Sea just produced a rare double display of sprites and ELVES in the night sky over Italy. Photographer Valter Binotto captured both in the same image, something even professional observatories seldom achieve.
