Does it make any sense to favor a regular Democrat over a "Democratic-Socialist" or vice-versa?

To me it makes no difference. They have the same bosses, and Democrats have favored socialist policies for at least the past few decades.
This fake "stop the socialists" stuff is just a back-up plan for the Democrats. "Help stop socialism by voting for the non-socialist
Democrat!"

if your district has no prayer to elect a republican, re-register as a Democrat to retain the regular Democrat and then re-register right after.
I think there are plenty of Democrats who are now (finally!) seeing
where the party is going. They know that the vast majority of Americans will reject socialism and if they stick with the Democrat party, they
are going to go down.

(Nice try)
It's funny how this came out recently after the NY Sh!t Show with
electing commies. It's funny they said the few things to win over the base that's leaving... And they never said what their policies were...
Last best Democrat was Bill, not his wife, BILL... He admitted big government was over and he worked with the Republicans to balance the budget ... all this and he got a BJ in the oval office.

The good thing about the so-called "Democrat Socialists" is that
they're open about it.
But the bad thing is that through the eyes of some, this trick
legitimizes "regular Democrats."
"Vote for me because I'm not a socialist, I just want to socialize medicaid, food, and rent."

John Fetterman has been the only Democrat to speak out about his party
in recent times. Recently some have came out to sign the contract with America promising them Republican like promises... Capitalism, secure borders... and so on.

Again, Fetterman is the only one who has courage in that party.

I'll give him that!!!
The leftists appreciate candidates for being well-liked by the media. The policy doesn't matter. Leftists have a lifelong dream of someday
becoming famous, so they take subconscious cues or signals from the media with a feeble expectation that they're in harmony with the television when they like who they're supposed to like.
Am I crazy? That's how I see it. I think I used to be one of those
people but one day I snapped out of it and realized that I'm comfortable with who I already am.
Yea, he was a lot less terrible than Obama & Biden. And less terrible is one of the best qualities that can be found in a Democrat.
Too little. Too late.
Because they have no policies. Only "Orange Man Bad!"
But I think we are used to politicians (especially Democrats) saying whatever words they think the public wants to hear, only to do whatever they want after they are elected.
It's sad when recent Democrats make Bill Clinton look like a great
leader.
But the bad thing is that through the eyes of some, this trick legitimizes "regular Democrats."
At this point "Democrat" means "Socialist". I know that some Dems are trying to distance themselves from that, but it's too late.
No, you are not crazy... Barry was/is the worst president ever and
because he can speak the media sold him... and the left bought it up. I was watching a #Walkaway video where a woman was saying her 1st vote
ever was for Barry... She loved that There is no Blue State or Red State there is only the United States... She loved that statement... Then she saw how he governed ... Now she's a Republican.
The 13 or so who signed the contract with America did so because they are trying to get ahead of the curve... Whatever... Like Gavin did a few
days back after the FBI raided their home getting the evidence of Pay
for Play.

You can't blame them for trying.
I saw a Democrat recently say that that TDS was the official Democrat platform. It'll be funny AF to see this play out.
I sent @Aaron a message today talking about the woman who flipped
parties because she saw that Barry said and then saw how Barry
governed.
Normal people are aware!!!
It's sad when recent Democrats make Bill Clinton look like a great

He was stellar compared to the Democrats that followed him.

Yea, this gives Republicans a slight advantage, if there are any
Democrat followers who are scared of socialism.
But I don't think it's going to convert too many people. If they like
what they see in Democrats, this is just more of it.
He seemed great back in 2009. I didn't trust GW Bush because he wasn't transparent enough and I didn't know what was going on in Iraq nor Afghanistan. It took me at least a year to figure out that Obama was yet another big liar.
Who do you mean? 13 house members for the SAVE act? (I'm confused.)

What did you think about the 250th 4th of July celebration last night.
Fireworks... OMG... they went for I don't know... 40 minutes... I
watched the whole thing just to say I did it.
But the speech was good. Even our resident bots can't complain.

There are 13 Democrats who have pledged to be "Normal" This happened after NY primaries and they elected 3 commies.
The bullet points to the pledge are things like Secure Borders, Free Enterprise... Normal JFK type Democrat stuff.
I think it was odd that it came out right after y'alls primary...
The Democrats are still without a mandate... other than Orange Man Bad.

I only saw bits and pieces. I'm not that interested in fireworks
anymore. I don't have anything against them, but they simply don't interest me.
But the speech was good. Even our resident bots can't complain.
But they will.
I see what you mean now. I'm more in favor of the socialist Democrats because they will teach people what Democrats are really made of. Plus they're putting yet another tough stain on the "Democratic" Party.

I'm not... Look at NYC... I'm sure they have regrets voting that idiot
in. Can you imagine NYC, LA and other major cities adopting the NYC model??
How different are they though? A Democrat is a Democrat. I think Mamdani is doing what the party wants.

I think Mamdani is doing what the commies want. I think the party is desperate to get back in power. They are saying its a Big Tent full of
an array of ideas... Looks like Bernie was able to put together some people who have some charisma and if they tip the scale too far there
may be a point of no return.
There is a fight for the sole of the Democrat party... I don't think the JFK wing of the party exists any more.

Who's Bernie putting together though? The "socialist" Democrats or the average Democrats?
I honestly still don't get that. I can only see Democrats fighting for opportunities for personal gain. Once they get elected, they're all on
the same page, and the "fight" is over.
The people who actually voted for him aren't regretting anything. It's everyone else - and most of them are leaving.
NYC is running out of other people's money. Hochul knows that the rest
of the state isn't going to take to propping up NYC for very long.
How different are they though? A Democrat is a Democrat. I think Mamdani is doing what the party wants.
That's because the Democrat party no longer exists. It's the Communist Party now.
I think there are still the odd normal Democrat out there... Not the Hollywood kind... Just normals. I might be wrong.
I think if the Democrats don't pull out of this they are screwed. Recently JD Vance was on Bill Maher's Podcast and Bill said that his votes in play because of recent politics.
I agree to some point... The Democrats seem to walk in lock-step. When one doesn't march the correct way they through them under the bus so quickly... ie Swalwell.. and the like.
I think the march in unison because the party leaders have dirt on every one of them.

True... This new generation of kids... Don't work and live in mommy's basement and want everything for free!!
Absolutely... Large portions moving to Florida and with the extra
income Florida's received Ron is trying to get rid of property taxes on your primary residence.
So maybe Bill Maher is one of those "normal" Democrats? I think he's
just a media tool who tries to appeal to people on both sides.
They are pushing that in Michigan too. We have to wait until our tyrant is expelled first, though.
Michigan recently had a high profile case that made it to the Supreme Count about property taxes, seizures, etc. tl;dr; Over a $2000 tax dispute, the county seized the property, sold it for far less than it
was worth, then the seller sold it for the market price and made a
profit.
The tax dispute made it to the local court who ruled in favor of the
home owner - so the county didn't have the authority to seize the
property in the first place.
The gov't has way too much power to seize our property today.
I don't know what a "Normal" liberal is... But Bill is one... During his interview with JD he said he'd be open to vote for him because of the
BS going on with the Commies gaining access using the Democrat party.
I heard some analysis on this and it makes sense... These Commies are divisive to the Democrat party, normal Democrats don't show up to vote because of this... and they get elected it... These Commies act to solidify the Republicans... We hate Commies... :)
So, on the Senate side of things, state wide, these guys may not get elected in because they'll have Republicans and disenfranchised
Democrats voting against them.
I was listening to someone who does polling and it looks like the polls are starting to move in Trump's way now...
IB Joe wrote to Dr. What <=-
The same in Florida... the State only wants what owed to them and sometimes properties are bought for the price of the property taxes
owed. You'd think they'd make a better way of doing it.
freeze bank accounts... Income taxes... the list goes on and on.
I was
part of a real estate transaction years ago where the seller didn't
want something that was added, it was a water line, so he ignored the
bill from the city and during the closing the city got their money
before he got his...
I just think there are better ways of handling things than taking someone's house.

There's a weird mix of people who vote Democrat. Surely some of them
will be turned off by the Communist agenda.
A true majority in the senate would burn a true hole in George Soros' pocket.
