Looks like Ron signed into law, a couple days back, Florida's own Save America Act.

So... In the State of Florida you'll have to prove American citizenship to register to vote. AND you have to have ID to vote.

Of course, the left is up-in-arms going on about White Supremacy, women and minorities will be disenfranchised because they don't know how to get ID.

I called the local elections people in the county. I did not wait for the day before the election to see if they needed something from me, they said no, I was good to go.

Note what I did... I preemptively called to see if something is needed and I did so months in advance.

BTW, during the same time I heard this Ron was talking about a DEI Judge, Left Wing Nut Job, let out a criminal child rapist, whereby he rapes and murders an other young child within hours of his release.

DeSantis during this talk on Florida's "Save America Act" <--- I don't know what they called it... He talked about impeaching this radical DEI judge.

Apparently Florida has more than a super majority of republicans, Enough votes to toss her, they have a Super-Duper Majority. She'll be ousted soon.

Ron is on Trump's short list for AG. There are several great choices, I'm sad to see Pam go, who knows why she fizzled out like she did. But maybe we'll see something done now if Ron were the AG.

I'm quietly supporting Ron DeSantis as AG. We need to see action against those who worked against The People over the last while.

And... We need to get rid of the RINOs or ask them to be normal and run as a Democrat if they aren't going to vote on the 80 side of the 80/20 issues.

Not certain about Florida, but here in Michigan, ID was always "nice to have". If you didn't have ID, you needed to fill out more paperwork to attest that you were who you claimed to be.

As I read the law, the requirement is
basically that even if you had your
previous ID, if the state does not
already have a specific record of
citizenship associated with your ID,
it's not valid. So for example, if I
have my ID but they don't have a birth
certificate to associate with that ID,
my ID is invalid and thus I will be
turned away at the voting booth despite
being a US citizen otherwise. The
answer of course is to have this done
ahead of time. The question will be if
the state of Florida deems it wise to
not just pass their law but also
advertise it to the general public
prior to the elections so that the
uninformed can be made aware to check
on if the state has those records.

For my part I'll be making sure to get
with my veterans group about making
sure the maximum amount of people are
aware of the change.

I have no problem with States passing ID laws for registering to or participating in the voting process, as this is exactly what the constitution says is supposed to happen.

The push to have have it done at the Federal level is the issue, because it removes what is intentionally a State right and process, not to mention that the President is willing to block the passage of any other bill as an ultimatum is unconscionable.

Not to mention, voting by non US citizens has been shown to be an uban legend time and time again, by multiple sources, yet the GOP keeps beating the drum..

The same with mail in ballots, there has been no evidence of election fraud, from multiple investigations and sources.
