I have seen in the past few months that Marjorie had voted not with the party and a few other things got me thinking something was up with her.
She was an attention-seeker from the start. Remember her campaign video with her shooting at targets with leftist concepts on them? It was cute, but ridiculous and too one-sided.
She's probably been friends with the left for a long time already. Now
she can be a tool for anti-MAGA propaganda.
She's probably been friends with the left for a long time already. No she can be a tool for anti-MAGA propaganda.
This maybe the case but personally I think it was a miss calculation on her point.
She and Tom Massie teamed up together... To my understanding Tom said
that Trump will be gone in a few years... But our vote will live on forever.
BTW, He last day is January 5th... She is eligible for a lifetime
pension on January 3rd.

Daddy Trump... In Iran for ~10 minutes. Eliminates the issue. Back out

American and at best it was just a handful of people.
On top of this... Trump is blowing up boats full of narcotic... It
pisses of the Narcoterrorist but not as much as MTG.
BTW, He last day is January 5th... She is eligible for a lifetime

The was a reason she waited.
Going on The View wasn't a miscalculation. She was there making friends with them.
Kentucky is a RINO state. Mitch Mcconnel, Rand Paul, Tom Massie, Mike Powell, all they do is make good chicken.
I knew Marjorie was fake when he announced that she was "filing articles of impeachment against Biden for failing to secure Afghanistan after the withdrawl." I knew that was going nowhere, and I recognized it as virtue signaling. She does it every time she talks.
RINOs always do what's in their best interest.
Do I like this? No. But there's no other way to handle them. That's reality.

@RonL... She's a Whore
More like a "soccer mom". Completely unsuited for the hard decisions
that need to be made as a politician.
When she started 5 or 6 years ago her net worth came in at ~$700K... 5
or 6 years later she's worth $25,000,000.00... What the F@ck is that...
And she thinks Trump is on the take. Trump is the only politician in my lifetime who's Net Worth declined after running for office.
I've come to the conclusion that MTG is a whore and will do anything to advance her career... She was part of MAGA on her way in because she saw an opportunity.
IB Joe wrote to Dr. What <=-
Nope... Lets compromise... She's a Soccer-Mom-Whore that made 25

I'd like to see the receipts for all that money.
He generously invited millions of people to rallies in huge venues like the Mohegan Sun Arena, free of charge. There's no way his donors paid

Now, **that** needs to be investigated. Maybe we can lump her in when they investigate Pelosi.
IB Joe wrote to Aaron Thomas <=-
Almost anyone would. She went from just a few hundred K to 25 million. Her public records shows that she made over 10 million in stock trades

No formal training... Just woke up one day and thought she'd give stock trading a try.
Of course, she could have just followed what Crazy Nancy was doing in
the stock market.
I hear there are more than a few people (outside the gov't) who have
done that and made good money.
IB Joe wrote to Dr. What <=-

I think MTG steps down because the questions will start soon.
I think you're right on that.

But that still begs the questions:
What turned someone who was seemingly pro-America into anti-America?
Where we misled from the start and MTG was really anti-America in the first place?
We've seem this with several people recently. Ex: Tucker Carlson,

Can TDS impact good people?

jealous of Trump I think. Candace Owens for example; she pal'd around
with Trump during his 1st year as president, but then said "I'm gonna
run against him in the primary because I want to be president," and
then she never even ran for anything (think of her as the right's DEI hire.)
I used to listen to her for a while, but she was focusing on fluff stuff and most of her "news" was old, so it wasn't worth listening to her.
She was supposed to have done an expose on how BLM spent their money,

Attention or just influence (i.e. power). That would make sense to me. If their desire was influence, they failed - and not just before they

I knew that Massie was a RINO but John Thune? I thought Thune was our

That's a good observation that you made though, them all getting money from the same sources. Maybe Thune is some kind of a stealth-RINO who

Thune is not my buddy. He's drabbing his feet on returning the

IHMO: Bad idea.
I can't. It's been corrupt for a long time. But in the past, it was a personal corruption and the people involved knew that they had a limit because too much would hurt everyone - including themselves.
In more recent history, the corruption seems to almost be at a self-destructive level. And Osama wasn't the start. He was just the
most visible in recent history.
And you see that's the difference.
Long ago, things like insider trading enriched the particular senator,
but did little to harm the country as a whole. And if the senator kept things quiet, he could retire wealthy, and have a nice country to live
in.
In more recent history, it seems like they not only want to enrich themselves, but wreck the country too. So they retire wealthy, but live in a s#!t hole. That makes no sense for greedy people.
The graft isn't limited to one party.
How does requiring proof of citizenship on election day prevent
corruption by both parties once elected? The issue of campaign finance
reform and term limits are more prescient - once elected, you can trade
influence for kickbacks and campaign donations, increasing your chance
of re-election and continuing the cycle of graft.
The Speaking Filibuster is simple majority after the Dem speak as to why they don't support common sense things like proving that you are a
citizen and showing ID on the way in to vote.
Thune can change this tomorrow, but he may be on someone's payroll.
If we have a senate leader who works as hard as Trump we'd be good to go...
BTW, let me ask you... Do you think Chuck or Nancy would have been asked to do whatever they can to put through whatever legislation they can...
NO... They'd do anything ANYTHING at all to push their agenda. If they win the House in November there will be impeachments everyday until the 2028 election.

I agree with that too though. If Trump wants it to get voted on, then Thune should take a vote on it. When we see the end of this predicament we'll know exactly who to blame, one way or the other.
Right. Thune is weak. I know that if I were GOP majority leader in the senate then I wouldn't rest until I had everyone's vote on this. They'd either be saving America or they'd be on a "definitely primary" list.

So, it's, not a bad thing to go to a Speaking Filibuster, we had it for the majority of our existence. Mind you when the Senate first made the rule the Democrats didn't hate America and had policies more than

It sounds better than what we have now. But a filibuster of any sort contradicts democracy.
I never heard of Thune until the 2024 elections. Was he the "minority leader" prior to the 2024 elections? There have been many more outspoken GOP senators who deserve the position more than he does.

Yes and no, it was implemented to allow the minority to voice their
views on a bill.
President can veto a bill and send it back to the Senate, the Senate overrides the veto with 60 votes.
So, in comes the Zombie Filibuster and THIS is a threat to democracy. It requires a 60 person vote... and now they run off to face the TV cameras blaming each other.

It would be interesting to see where the other GOP senators stand on keeping Thune as majority leader. I'd also be interested in knowing why they chose him in the first place.
Thank you for explaining that. That makes sense; if an overwhelming majority of Senators want something done, the president can't stand in their way. It seems like a good idea until this happens:
So with that being said, there should be no filibuster. Being a political minority means being a loser, and senators fitting that description shouldn't have special accommodations (filibuster.)
That sucks. I was excited with the 2024 and 2025 election results, but deep down I knew not to expect much legislation to happen.
I hope so. We need to finish pushing the Democrats off the cliff so
they can never regain power.
Then we can focus on getting rid of the RINOs.
I'm a lefty but this is a point I agree
on actually. The last thing I want is
for you cats to get your agenda across;
however, this bein a democracy, the
GOP did win the last elections and thus
should have the ability to get their
agenda across, however painful and
fucked I think it is. The back and
forth of congress is supposed to be
healthy and responsive, and the current
filibuster destroys that for both
parties, so that no voter ever feels
that they get the changes you voted
for.
In 1975 they moved things down from 2/3rds (67) to 60... That 1975
2/3rds was a rule passed some time ago.
Important takeaway... This is a Senate Rule and with a simple majority
to make changes. The Speaking Filibuster as I described was the way it was since the beginning of time and it was in place to give the minority
a voice.
Senator Kennedy was talking about pushing it through the process of reconciliation, a way they can do it with 50+1 votes.

I need to add "Missing the point" to
the official leftist procedures manu
along with a tagline of "It's so
stupid, it's smart."
Think about it like this: You go to
courthouse for a hearing, and they
screened you through the metal detec
when you walked in, but then you
realized that you left some importan
papers in the car. You go back out
to the car to retrieve them, but upo
re-entry to the courthouse they want
you to go through the metal detector
again.
What do you do? Start crying about t
constitution? Or act like an adult a
go through the metal detector once
more?
There's a word for it when a person
does something to harm people but
shifts the blame onto the victims, b
you seem like a nice guy so I won't
call you it.
Yeah it's called MAGATRY and you are a
MAGAT, perforiming MAGATRY. I'm happy
to call you it if it makes you feel
better. It's certainly cathartic for
me.
Except for the whole pesky thing about it overstepping theconstitutional
authority reserved the each individual states.
I believe that a constitutional amendment overrides state law, excluding state & local elections.
For your analogy to work, that would
mean I was legal when I registered to
vote but became illegal right before I
voted.

"Missing the point" is leftist stealth move. They miss the point, then when I try to correct them, they have a "we already discussed that" attitude.

Do you ever feel that lefties live in Opposite World?
So by all means, cheer for yourself.
You did it. But what did YOU gain? You
beat the trannies, the immigrants, the
blue hairs, the gays, the Joses and the
Shaniquas of America to make room for
the the "right" people.
Let me know when it brings a smile to
your face and the resentment stops.

I was at a school meeting yesterday and the leftists said "we hire
school resource officers to form relationships with the students, and
for safety." When I corrected them by saying "We only hire them for safety, not to form relationships," they all started hissing at me
exactly like snakes would if you tore the roof off their den.

You missed my point, and I think you missed what DEI is.
100 years ago families were slightly different that today... Men
worked out of the house, women ran the house and the family.
Today you you need 2 people working, if you want.

My arguments are similar. I think man or woman, light or dark skin,
y'all should have the same opportunities. Hard work with great ideas
and you'll prosper.
If you go and invent the next biggest and best thing, do it, and I'll
say great job.

That's because you committed the crime of Wrong-Think and went against their false Narrative.

That's true. The other people at the meeting were all school employees (worker bees) who will do anything to defend the superintendent (queen bee.)
In a hive, there's no memo system with notes that say "The queen was
wrong about something."
That's why I simply don't interact with any drones I encounter anymore. It's not worth it. They can't think for themselves and since they are

That's the standard Socialist redirection.
Make them focus on some, usually minor, problem and not the big problems that the Elitists are causing.

Yea, it's not the old lady's fault, it's the people who are programming her incorrectly. This is one of the rare occasions where the world news
is actually necessary for the message of "The Iranians are blocking oil shipments," but the media knows that it's easier to program "Trump bad, gas prices high."

This is a much better analogy, I will
grant you. However the issue is tht
your state does still have methods of
voter ID that are more reasonable and
don't place burden on the voter. For
example, New York has signature
matching and electronic pollbooks.
You're MAGA. You don't trust the
government, I would presume. What would
you do if New York was 100% going
republican at the next election, and
the Dems introduced some new ID law
that you knew was gonna be hard for
your 80 year old republican Puerto
Rican neighbor to get done because he
was born at a rural hospital back in
the day and didn't have a valid birth
certificate, but was a US citizen, but
was also broke as fuck?
This is a rel scenario btw. My
Grandfather before he died was one such
person; no one, not even him, knew when
he was born and it was not documented.
All that was known was that we has born
at some point in the 30s in San Juan.
Still a US citizen, still has the right
to vote (well, when he was alive
anyhow.) In your state he could
exercise his vote. Under your rules, if
"I'm a teenager and I need to form a
relationship with an officer."
I would think that the school cop
knowing who the kid are, which ones are
bad eggs and aren't, etc, would be part
of the job. You know: formin a
relationship. I won't pretend to know
how your meeting went but I would think
you at least want the school cop to
know which kid is most likely to be a
school shooter and which ones are
harmless.
"The Iranians are blocking oil
shipments," but the media knows that
it's easier to program "Trump bad, g
prices high."
And how, pray tell, did that come to be
the case? I guess the Iranians closed
the strait because they hate our
freedom, eh?
