Looks like MTG is stepping down from Congress on January 5th.

I have seen in the past few months that Marjorie had voted not with the party and a few other things got me thinking something was up with her.

Recently She had expressed that she wanted to run for Governor or Senator for Georgia. And she may have been a great one of those 2 things.

Trump showed her some poll numbers about her move and as a result he wasn't supporting her with that endeavor. She could do whatever she wants but his endorsement of her was going to be pulled.

I'm not sure what her thinking was... BUT she was extremely surprised they way things went.

So, she resigned from congress.

She still may run for Senate or Governor... She will be doing so without Trumps endorsement.

I'll miss her a little bit.

There was something else I wanted to add... She was posing with Epstein's victims... She was going on and on about releasing the client list.

Epstein's GF had stated recently that there was no "List"... BUT MTG was showing off, and I would argue, using them like Epstein did to them when he was alive.

The victims do not need congress, or anyone for that matter, to release the list. ALL those beautiful young girls that were trafficked could look into the camera and say...

Important takeaway... This is a Senate Rule and with a simple majority to make changes. The Speaking Filibuster as I described was the way it was since the beginning of time and it was in place to give the minority a voice.

It kept the debate going. Amendments might have been added... it was a great idea... Back in the day there weren't 100 Senators and the Democrats actually loved the country.

Simple example: A majority of a town votes to allow anyone to take any car for use and forces people to leave their keys in the car. A judge can come in and rule that the new law is unconstitutional and strike it down.

Just because the majority want to do something doesn't mean it's right or legal.

But in your example, the law that says that you have to take your car in to make it slower is unconstutional and can be ignored.

Side note: They know this. That's why they put pressure on car manufacturers to put in those constraints. They know that they cannot make the people do that.

opposition to the SAVE act isn't to do
with immigration. The main issue is
that it intentionally will kick valid
voters off the rolls on short notice
before their respective elections. For
example:

Oklahoma's recent anti-trans license
bill jut instantaneously invalidated
a small chunk of voter's driver's
licenses, specifically those who used
the at-the-time valid rule to change
their documents. Under the SAVE act and
other ID laws, these people would be
required to change any legally changed
documents, acquire new licenses,
provide birth certificate, potentially
a buy a passport if they can't produce
one, all so that they can vote.

This also applies to women, some legal
immigrants, poor folk who don't have
all their documents for one reason or
another; this law is designed to prune
perfectly legal and valid voters by
imposing inconvenience and fees on
the American people.

THAT's why someone like me says the
SAVE act is horseshit, not because
of a non-existent illegal voter your

And no, the SAVE act is about makin it
as inconvenient in the short term as
possible for people to register to vote
in the upcoming elections, to preserve
power. It is also about consolidating
the power to control elections with the
federal government, rather than the
states. A cursory reading of the

advise you look for yourself and don't

can't define it, and the best you are

My point... Simple... I cannot change what policies were 100 years ago.

100 years ago families were slightly different that today... Men worked out of the house, women ran the house and the family.

grant you. However the issue is tht
your state does still have methods of
voter ID that are more reasonable and
don't place burden on the voter. For
example, New York has signature
matching and electronic pollbooks.

So in your scenario, the equivalent
would be a liquor store that has a
record of your signature, where you
live, and can look up your records on
the spot if they don't remember you.
Plus, since you used your signature as
an ID, it cost you nothing beyond your
initial registration.

See, MAGA is operating under the
assumption that someone like me thinks
all ID is bad and that is not the case.
I, and people just like me, just don't
trust the government and we know, from
looking at how votin was conducted
nationwide from 1865-onwards, that this
is yet another tactic to sound

don't place burden on the voter. For
example, New York has signature
matching and electronic pollbooks.

There's no signature involved during the voting process in New York. You tell them your name and address, they hand you a ballot, and that's all there is to it.
