  • Something has changed at Tesla

    In the past, Tesla spent almost no money on advertising, because their CEO managed to make headlines in the international newspapers every week and that was worth more than any advertising campaign.

    The company became more valuable than all other car manufacturers combined.

    Everyone who cared about electric driving wanted a Tesla.

    Something changed.

    Tesla's CEO turned into an evil and very inhumane man who sought friendship with a man with 38 convictions, including assault.

    Elon Musk became more right-wing, even giving the Nazi salute. The buyers of Tesla cars no longer recognized themselves in the brand.

    The often somewhat left-wing Tesla drivers decided en masse to sell their cars, or not to buy a new Tesla when the time came for a replacement. This process is now in full swing. Elon Musk's new target group is not electric car drivers. But his fans are now the owners of gas-guzzling big American SUVs. Those are the MAGA fans.

    So Elon Musk has a huge image problem and that is something that Tesla is not going to just shake off.

    Either Elon Musk goes, or Tesla transforms into a car manufacturer that makes gas-guzzling cars.

    If they do nothing, Tesla will quickly get into financial trouble, with the end result being bankruptcy within a few years.

    Either Elon Musk goes, or Tesla transforms into a car manufacturer that makes gas-guzzling cars.

    I doubt that will save them.
