Found the c99 culprit as per subject. The fix looks like this;
CC='gcc -std=c99' ./configure --prefix=/usr -G -O3 -r
Works like a charm. :-)
I'm not sure what "bc-7.0.3" is, but my package manager seems to
offer this:
Packages (1) bc-1.08.2-1
Packages (1) bc-1.08.2-1
However now that you bring it up I really don't see any issues with bc-1.08.2.
