*Chinese satellite takes hi-res image of US cities in SECONDS*
Using one of the most nimble & powerful imaging satellites ever, China has bee
able to snap San Francisco within 42 seconds - with images that could easily i
ntify military vehicles and even weaponry.
The Beijing-3 test on June 16 revealed it could capture images of large areas
one fly-by from 500km up, while rotating at 10 degrees per second - something
reviously thought to be impossible.
By comparison, its response time is 2 or 3 times faster than the US' most adv
ced competitor WorldView-4, with a 77% wider scanning band. Despite joining th
market late, it has generated more than $41BN in annual revenue.
