    I built and rode a 1946 Harley Knucklehead motorcycle for a few
    years... does that count? B)

    Mine is coming up to 18. It's showing its age.

    That was back when I got my first house in 1975. By 1986 when I quit
    my job and moved up here. By then I was moving from a pretty flashy
    new 2 story brick home in Brampton and I had a 2 year old motorcycle
    and was driving a brand new Thunderbird..

    Right now I have a 2017 Ford Escape that I bought when it was about
    4 years old and only had about 60,000 km on it when I got it..
    It still has less that 70,000 on it.. B)

    The dollars have gone up on used cars so that doesn't sound too bad.
    You have to add $1500 or so since it has AWD. I paid about $15,500
    for mine but that was considered a bargain at the time. They had to
    play with the trade-in price to give me that rate. The dealer wouldn't
    drop it any lower than the sticker price since they had just dropped
    it by 10%, so they gave me an extra $500 for my 15 year old trade in
    where others were offering me $500 for it and they gave me $1000.
