Like z1binkd.txt for example, how would I put that into binkd?

Just add a line to your binkd config like this:
include /etc/binkd/z1binkd.txt

Thanks Tommi! Now all of my previous direct netmails from a year ago are going out like crazy!

Are there any other txt files for the other zones and for other
networks?
That could be a nice filearea to receive.

There is the ndl2bnkd project on github with pascal source. I was able
to compile it with fpc for win32 with no problems at all! It'll
convert all of your fidonet nodelists to binkd compatible nodelists.
It works very well. You can run it as a scheduled event if you want!
