Does anyone still carry this echo besides me?
I have 2 friends who I talk to just about every day and they're both liberals. I don't talk politics with them, but if I did, then I
guarantee that part of the conversation wouldn't be "prove it!"
The "prove it" thing in the other echo is not for me.
I'm not a
teenager, I get dates and/or years confused.
It's rude to tell people to
prove what they're saying.
I'm not down with it. And links to webpages
don't prove anything either, other than the fact that someone or some organization published it.

In other words, you're looking for somewhere that your aseless theories and allegations won't be challenged.

No, it's not.

They can, if the link contains facts and data disproving your baseless theory or accusation.
In other words, you're looking for somewhere that your aseless theori and allegations won't be challenged. No, I'm looking for a place where people can talk politics a bit without being dicks, where people can appreciate each other's differing opinions.
If a Burger King employee tells me "We're out of onion rings," I'm not going to say "Take me to the walk-in freezer so I can confirm thatIt's rude to tell people toNo, it's not.

you're not lying." Which body part would I be akin to if I said
something like that?
A web page is as capable of containing facts as I am at doing the dishes.I'm not down with it. And links to webpagesThey can, if the link contains facts and data disproving your baseles theory or accusation.

Me ... plus all these at least transporting it ...

100% and friends are kept by not dicussing politics ... nor religion ...
Your "differing opinion," of course, being baseless theories and allegations, sometimes using "psychics" and your "imagination" as
sources. And you want those appreciated but not challenged.

Thanks. I guess we're just running low on people who want to post in
here.

I agree, and that's why I come to Fidonet to talk politics (and nowhere else.) Why can't we be more like "The Five" and less like "The View?"
So, are you getting psyched about the red wave this November? ;) I am!

If you are refering to Indian war porty that I can see forming to storm
DC and take out that pitiful excuse for a supreme court, then OH YEAH!

Hmm, sounds like the media has you psyched in a different way. The November elections won't help with your cause. Depending on which state you live in, you might need to perform your abortion the old fashoined way.
When is your due date?

Telling someone to back up there arguments is just part of debate.

"red wave" is a really poor choice of phrase... it is associated with feminine hygine products and a certain moon cycle time of month... i
can't help but to belly laugh when i see it in a political theme like
this
ha! well, better prepare for that kind of red wave too!The 1/6 protesters are gushing red blood for victory.
