I'm trying to get SyncReg to load up from the Chat menu, as opposed to only having it load up from the External/Online programs menu. Now, I've editted the Baja module for the Chat Menu (chat_sec.src), and added a command key in there to load SyncReg ... basically:
cmdkey 'U'
exec_xtrn syncreg
end_cmd
As far as I know, using the other entries as an example, as well as the documentation, this is all I should have to have. But, it simply doesn't do anything. SyncReg is setup with code syncreg, and it works in my logon.src so, are menus any different? Any help I could get would be most appreciated :) Thanks!
cmdkey 'U'
exec_xtrn syncreg
end_cmd
Hmmmmm, quoting isn't working in SyncEdit for some reason. Oh well, anyway, with regard to the syncreg thing ... when I first posted that message, I did have U defined in the getcmd. Now it is, though, and it still won't work. I've also tried, as was suggested in the message after yours, putting quotes around syncreg, and that doesn't work either. The external code is right, though, because it works from the online programs menu, and it works in my logon.bin too (I have it asking if they want to enter the registry as they logon). So, not sure what's different about chat_sec.
