I am not devout in any sense of the word. However I went to a church and sat thru a service last night for the first time in 10+ years. I would like to
see if I can have a relationship with the lord, but I am still searching.

I would encourage you to find someone you trust to talk to one on one!

That is some good advice there. Just remember there is no perfect church out there beacuse we all fall short of the Glory of God even our pastors. The church is not a building we are the Church we are His hands and feet extended though at times people in the church forgot what the Gospel is all about and that its not a Club for the saints but it's a hospital for the lost and the broken. There is power in the chuch but you have find someone to mentor you that walks what they believe not just talks about it. if your serious and If you need someone to talk to you want prayer or someone to pray with you and for you please feel free to drop me a line at any time. i'm the sysop of The Insane Asylum BBS.
