    Does anyone know of a piece of software for Gnome that I can use to make .avi's? You know, basically the LINUX equivalent of Flash...

    I've been looking around for something but if you use Flash as a search keyword it's talking about the plug-in.

    I'm a songwriter & I want to paste my .mp3's into a timeline with some graphics, output to an .avi & get 'em up on youtube.

    Any help would be appreciated.
