don't sweat it. the typical sysop is bald and wears glasses and lives on piz and old pepsi.
BTW, I ended up crapping out my lamp server hard-core and now I can't get any of the lamp components to reinstall so I'm going to have to do a fresh install of Ubuntu.
call me old-school *nix or something but what the hell is lamp?

The LAMP stack is Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP (although any one of those words can be replaced with another that's similarly free and of a similar function, for example the P could refer to Perl or Python.) It's just a
way of referring to the set of free software components one could use to cobble together a webserver. I hadn't heard of this term until a couple of years ago, but apparently it's been in use for some time now.
