.
I am Deavmi/Diskette/Disquette. But you can call me Tristan B. Kildaire.
I want to start my own hub with a focus on programming but I also want
to make sure that all the nodes which are connected to my hub are
uniform in the way they present themselves to their users, hence I want them to use the Bootstrap web interface found on many BBSes's HTTP
portal such as eChicken BBS or DarkAges BBS.
I was also thinking about more deeper things, like are there ways to
get the BBSes to sync in a peer-to-peer way without a central hub?
Anyway, that is why I came and posted here today.
Further help or suggestions would be nice. I am thinking about writing
up a manifesto for the network as well. It will be a nice little side-prohect/hobby for me as a programmer.

One already exists.... DeveloperNet.
One already exists.... DeveloperNet.
With zero traffic. I'm a member and I get nothing form the network.
I've logged into the hub and checked the message bases and it's been several months without a post.

Did you try posting anything on there of interest to fellow
programmers? Nothing will be said unless something is brought up.
You may want to keep that in mind if you want to start your own network
as well. :)

Thank Nick. I was merely stating that I hadn't seen any traffic
recently. I'm not looking to start my own network, someone else was.
Yeah. Human posts are the best. Like this one, it's interesting. :)
While that first part was in reply to you directly, the second part
was merely advice for all who decide to read it. :)

When replying to a message, it helps if you quote the message you're replying to (at least the part of the message you're replying to). Otherwise it can be hard to follow the conversation.

I find this focus on web interfaces to be odd for a BBS network, though I would like to install echicken's web interface on my Synchronet board for those users who prefer to use the web (not me! :) ).

I just like to have it. Works well on mobile.
I do enjoy using telnet and NNTP tho. :) I don't mind the web interface for general use either.
