    The Prime Minister hopes to pass a bill on Online Surveillancing. That means privacy laws will be broken at all levels including Government and RCMP which could cause a country wide chaos. What arew you thoughts on this?

    I haven't been following this as closely as I might, although I've been trying to get caught up on it. I would prefer that warrants continue to be required for this sort of thing. If the process of obtaining warrants is too slow or cumbersome, perhaps that could be addressed in some way other than simply doing away with it entirely.

    Well, "laws" are "what the government says" so it wouldn't break any privacy laws. I think it's an insane burden on the smaller ISPs, and I expect it to be
    abused at least as often as it is used for the intended purpose.

    On the other hand, I doubt it would ever impact my life in any way.

    That means all Police and Politicians will be monitored as well as organizations like CSIS because this becomes a generalized bill which doesn't explicitly that NO one is exempt from it.
