Looking for some help. Trying to make something useful out of this POS. It's extremely lacking in internal memory. Does anyone know of a way to make Chromebook treat a thumbdrive as internal memory? I've seen a few supposed methods to do this on various message forums, but ultimately they don't work.

i thought about doing that and running my board on it, but i'm probably understating it's lack of internal memory. it's really miniscule.

Depends on the model - sometimes they've got socketed memory and you can upgrade them on the cheap. The low-end spec is typically 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage, which should be fine to run ChromeOS.
