  • Win7 Starter

    By Minilap do you mean a Netbook or a small 'full featured' unit ?
    I have a friend that just got a 10.1" Acer Aspire One Netbook (250)
    that came with Win7 Starter on it and I was thinking about trying to
    get some input from others running this.
    There seem a lot of limitations purposely built into Win7 Starter
    and I wondered if others had found ways around this without totally
    changing the OS..

    I see.. better unit and OS.. Win7 Starter sort of sucks..
    I suppose you have at least 2 gig to run Home Premium ?
    Does the HP mini use an Atom processor or something higher end ?

    2 gigs and a atom N270
