there's no users now anyways.

I think it is still worth archiving.
Agreed. Some of us are still pushing the boulder up the hill.

The Boulder Of Life flattened me a year ago, but I finally got
out from under the stones, and am getting back into BBSing.

oh really, what adversity are you facing?
oh really, what adversity are you facing?
You mentioned it in the first post quoted... "pointless... no users."
Some of us are still running, upgrading, and adding things despite
this possibly being true.
Considering it is all quoted, I didn't think there was any mystery
to what I meant. ;)

you're the one doing it.
you're the one doing it.
Uh, yes... the point of the messages was that an archive of some
bbs things would be useful to those of us who are still running
one, even though others think it is pointless because there are no
users. There was no implied complaint on my part, or the part of
the person I replied to, in regards to running one.
Welcome back.
Ed,
Thanks. By the way, I got my Grumpy Number from The Grumpy Net.
They meet Monday through Friday at 8:45am Central Time on the
K9ONA-R Echolink Node, part of the 6 meter Chicago Club (SMCC).
Three consecutive checkins, or five checkins in 30 days, gets
you a grumpy number and a special certificate.
The net was recommended to me by Lloyd, KC5FM, and it's perfect
for an old codger like me (hi hi).
73,
Daryl, N5VLZ
