it's down now and barely noticable but under my lip it's raw as fuck and yellow on one side. i can't have any salt or drink booze. burns like fire .
i drink everything with a straw now

I saw people getting allergic to wasp bite and lips sometimes ears also look pumped. Ointment helps but it's annoying feeling. I had something similar as a kid, vague memory but you just reminded how annoying it was for about a week or so.

it's not just annoying. my pain level was like a 7 for the first day.
i didnt even drink water or eat the first day but you have to to live.

when i wake up i have to squeeze my lips to get the fluid out. i'm not super inflated but it's still painful and gross. the inside is raw and painful.
tried to eat an awesome hamburger today and it was difficult. the peppers lit me up too.

Yes, you probably do. I am lucky in that I don't have one to most wasps,
but may to yellow jackets. Those do swell up some but luckly, unlike the
other wasps, they've not shown a preference for stinging my face.

The one that got my eyeball... I turned my head just in time to see it
flying at me. I tried closing my eyes but it was already too close and got caught in my lashes. A few years before that, one landed on my face, under
my lower lip and before I even knew it was there it had stung me.

They like faces.

i took a lot of benedryl so i knew they wouldnt give me a jab.
like i took a dangerous amount.

so now my lip is smaller and it's still raw. and it's now peeling skin on the inside. i wonder if there is still some part of the stinger in there. if so, the body will try to kick it out.

i'm on day 7. taking antibiotic every day and using creme on my lip. gets very dry and nasty without antibiotic creme.

I can easily walk 10 miles a day at work.

I'm a former basketball player so i still have strong legs, but up top i have a football player build. my stomach is fat but that changes.

In the past year my meniscus has been fucked up but i don't want to get an operation or see a doctor about it. I think my sports background is probably to blame.

lets put it this way: i have a neck.

I too got stung in the eyeball once... It hurt like hell. Imagine someone poking their finger in your eye... that's what it felt like. And my vision was all blurry. My wife was furious that I refused to go to the ER. I told her they don't usually have ophthalmologists at the ER and most likely all they'll do is make sure there isn't a stinger in there and tell me to call my ophthalmologist if it wasn't better the next day. I figured I could do that myself and save myself the time, hassle, and expense of an ER visit.
Turns out it was better the next day... and the day after was almost back to normal.
I don't recommend wasp stings to the eye.

No, I don't... my glucose will sometimes dip low in the middle of the night and my CGM will wake me up... I'll usually have a pack of fruit snacks, or a handful of chocolate covered almonds and that's it. I keep them for when it happens and they tend to last for several months.

My metabolism is fucked, is what it comes down to. I've lost/gained over 100# 4 times in my life, and over 50# more times than I can recall. My knees, hips and back are too f'd up to do much exercise at this point. I didn't completely recover from Guillian-Barre about 14 years ago, so even walking is sometimes difficult for me. I also have Gastroparesis and a sliding hiatal hernia. So basically, I throw up almost daily, and sometimes food from over a day before.

Frankly it just pisses me off, and is completely insulting regarding many of the assumptions people tend to make. Not even to get into the gawking, looks and staring if I happen to go out and dare to eat a meal or anything.
