I found one in the men's room on top of the soap dispensor, and my wife found one on the floor in a gas station i worked at. But, what if the garbage man and his low pay doesn't have enouhh money for a mask, and sees one in the trash, and decides to use it, because its mandated, and the person who wore it last had the covid-19 virus. Then he'd likely contract it as well.Seriously?? That's disgusting! YouHopefully putting them in the trash,
bring up a validate point. What are
people doing with their discarded
masks?
although some people obviously are
not.

You caught him in a lie and he's trying to weasel his way out.
He has to try to keep the illusion that he's an "expert".
The problem with "experts" is that some are outstanding in their field
while others are out, standing in their field (Picture the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz - "If I only had a brain...").

The garbage man usually makes great pay. You're thinking of the custodian at Wal-Mart. Or the janitor at your friendly local retailer or entertainment venue.

You mean the thing that sits there and collects germs all day,
that sits right on my face? I should just let that contaminate
everything around it? Word. Thanks for the clarification.

why do you think janitors and custodians dont make good pay?
and why do you think garbage men make 'great pay'?
my coworker is working for the company i was doing PT work at and he makes 20 bucks and only works 2 hours and gets paid for 4.
in the big city i live in most garbage men make 24.6-44.7k per year.
44k isnt really great money.
Who the hell is going to pick up a used mask off the ground or from the trash a
d put it on? Most places I have been to if you don't have a mask they have a b
x of them by the entrance and are more than willing to give you one.

I've never earned above the poverty line, so my first IT Job I
landed with the Feds, I was making $16 an hour. I was offered a
promotion to a supervisor and I tunred it down because the jump
to $19 an hour didn't represent a significant enough change in my financial wellbeing for the added responsability and work load. I
ended up with the nick name "Big Lobster" because I tried to
explain to my coworkers about how lobsters fight each other, and
how the big lobster flexes and becomes bigger.I was telling them
at this job making that pay I was Big Lobster because for the
first time in years I had 4 didgets in my bank account.
Needless to say I went on to continue to make an ass of myself
and then got subsequently shit canned.
Since then I've reverted to being a hermit shut in and refuse to participate in society. It's pretty fucking great doing nothing
all day.

You must be so proud of yourself!
I'd have to guess that it would suck, big time, to be doing nothing
all day.
So, do you live off the gub'mint teat, or what?

Not really.
I mean, I keep myself busy with this and that, errands and
recreation, but effectively one would say I do "Nothing" all dy.
I would be squating in abandoned buildings and living out of a
car with a change can on the side of the road if I didn't have
family. Instead, I am a proud parent of a husky who drives me
crazy.
It's really more like my life is a sitcom.

So you live off the "family teat" then. Got it.

A pathetic failure is more like it.

Shit, what did I do, piss in your cereal? I'm not even intrested
in your shitty life decisions, let alone passing judgement on
them over Telnet.
I pitty the fact that you felt it was nessecary to call me
failure, to whatever end you did. I'm living my life the way I
want to, and lacking a W-2 income and a 9-5 scheduel doesn't make
me sub-human.

What makes you think I've made "shitty life decisions"? I'm not the
one posting that I'm a no-load dependant on others.

Uh-huh. Okay, if you say so.
What are you going to do when that "family teat" dries up? In case
you don't know this.... it will.
... Ignorance can be cured. Stupid is forever.
