I hear you, when there are more file announcements than BBS advertisements, it can get annoying, but in his defence, he is
technically advertising his BBS through the file announcements. He's specifying his BBS name, and the URL to contact it, and listing some recent files that can be downloaded from his BBS.

True, but then the one-a-day rule should apply. At the very least, he should create a digest of all files received that day and post it one time only.

Now that, I agree with! Although his software may or may not be able
to do that. Though, if he's receiving files that often to get annoying,
then perhaps he should just quit posting his advertisements plain and simple.

I'm in agreement here, I feel once a week is good, but if you do post every day, I feel it should be limited to only one ad. Let's put it in real terms. If you are watching a tv show, and the same ad comes on several times, do you watch the ad every time, I don't, I tend to get up or do something else until the ad finishes. It's the same here. I actually feel that posting my bbs ads every sunday is a bit much, but I do it once a week in hopes that someone new will see it, and check out my site, or one of the sites on the TWGS ad. In the end, I just try to be fair to everyone, and limit my ad to once a week.
