    Anyone actually able to get this working?? I keep getting an error every

    you know that was compiled a long time ago?
    maybe he compiled it for a library that no longer exsists in modern linux ->but if you can figure out which one maybe you can find it.
    but I think the author is long gone now.

    If so then I got an email the other day from someone pretending to be him :) Newer versions of the libs that rexl were compiled against are different than what Charles used. If you can find out the versions that he used and install those, you might have some luck running Internet Rex. But, if you are running something like Mystic, then that would not really matter since Mystic has a binkd mailer built into it.

    I think someone did ask him once and the code was lost on a dead computer. ->and he wasnt going to reright it from scratch.

    IIRC, the last time I asked Charles about this he said he did not lose the
    code (again, IIRC) but that he decided to start devoting time to his family. You know, the stuff that usually happens when decent programmers leave the scene.
