  • Open Doors for C/C++

    Hi all,

    Does anyone know of where I can get the latest version of Open Doors? The version I have is 6.2 and it does not include the DOS library files necessary to compile. I have tried the 5.0, 6.0, and 6.1 without any success. With this development kit, I will be able to read drop files as well as use ANSi for a door game that I've been working on. If someone knows of this development kit and has a newer version or a kit that is better than this one, please let me know here. Thank you and have a great day.

    I'm not sure, but I imagine it might help to get a DOS C/C++ compiler, since it's the compiler that usually comes with the necessary header files for the platform. Borland C++ was probably the best known and most used for DOS C++ development (particularly, version 3 seemed very popular). Perhaps if you could find a copy of Borland C++ or another DOS C++ compiler somewhere, that might provide you with the necessary DOS header files.
