Hi Jesse
Got you here in New Zealand. Welcome!

Hi all,
Just testing... fingers crossed.
Is there an echo in here? :)
Al, slightly OT (though still on the topic of "testing"), did you
receive the netmail that I sent you via Fidonet?
I took your advice regarding MBSE setup, but still no luck getting
mbindex to pull the URLs out of the nodelist for mbcico to use. Will
take this issue to the MBSE echo soon, though it's not really hindering
me in any way (binkd works like a charm), it's just bugging me that I haven't been able to get it working.

No. Did you crash it or route it? You can poll me directly if you like, or do any testing you need to my node. Binkp and telnet is at trmb.ca. I'd have
the rest online too but my current ISP is a port blocker so I can't for
the
time being. Come to think of it telnet and binkp seem to do all I really need
so maybe that's good enough.
I think the MBSE echo would be a good choice. There are some very knowledgable (MBSE and otherwise) people there. They helped me out a lot when
I ran MBSE.
I will keep an eye out and post any ideas I can think of.
I routed it; at least, I thought I did. It's possible (probable?) that
I don't understand netmail routing, don't have it set up properly, and that routing is yet another area of FTN that I waded into without fully understanding. That's kind of my style :P More knowledge gaps to fill
in ;)
Thanks Al. I've been busy the last few days, so really just answering pending replies and not thinking too much about the Fido/BBS situation. Will craft a well-formed request for help when I've got some free time.
Seems to me routing netmail is a 50/50 proposition. You should just
send that netmail to your local hub and away it goes as long as there
are no broken links. Links can and will break though.

One day at a time.. :) You could probably route netmail to this
address. If I read the path right there is just pharcyde between us.

For Agoranet, yes.. that's correct. You just route traffic for 46:* to
me, and my system will send it off to the proper destination.
With that said, there was *nothing* in my netmail folder destined for either one of you. So either the netmail was created incorrectly and
never made it here, or my system has already sent it off to it's destination.
