Basically, I've installed Neomutt (a Linux console based email and nntp client) and am in the process of slowly editing/configuring the 7k+ line configuration file on one of my test VMs. Pretty sure by default it turns on format=flowed text, but when it is enabled it doesn't put a space after the quote character when I quote text (I noticed this in TUXPOWER on Fidonet on a couple of my posts there). Unsetting that option seemed to have fixed the issue.
While format=flowed has it's pros, it seems to have quite a few cons as well.. and is probably more suitable for email/nntp clients that support HTML. I'm fairly certain my editor (nano) already supports it, though - as I can resize my window and paragraphs rewrap properly.. so I don't really need to enable it in Neomutt.
