That said...and I may have said this elsewhere....we were in New England last month and met 3 different people who had lived or have family in Plano. When people ask where we're from we just said Dallas because, well, who's ever heard of Plano, Texas!

I have! But then, I did live in Texas (Arlington) back in the 70's.
I've traveled great distances just to run into strangers from my home town. Uncanny sometimes.
