Lubuntu 14.04 on ODROID

Hello all,
I finally got my ODORID XU3-Lite. I got it with Lubuntu and Android roms. When I want to switch between the two OSes, I have to swap the eMMC modules.
Running Android as a desktop is pretty cool. I can do most anything I want
to do. Read my Yahoo or Gmail email, check out G+, play games, watch netflix or Hulu+. I can do anything but log on to a BBS, since there is no usable
ANSI Terminal for android. There is ANSI Terminal Mobile, but it's pretty
much worthless on my ODROID. It will open up, but it doesn't acknowledge any keystroke or mouse input. The best I can do is use ConnectBot. I can
connect, but the ansi is all mucked up.
The next option I tried was to get use a dos terminal program like BananaCom
in DosBox. There are a few dosbox android apps out there, but for some
reason they don't offer a way to configure it so that redirects the serial
port to the network interface. Without that configuration, none of the dos serial terms will dial out.
I also got the Lubuntu 14.04 eMMC rom, and I'm using it right now. I was able to get SyncTerm working, but I had to download the source and compile it. It compiled, installed and ran with no issues.
But, I'm having other issues. I'm running lxde as the desktop manager, and LXTerm won't work. It hangs and never gives me a command prompt. I've tried gnome term too, and it doesn't work either. The best I can do is use xterm. That will launch and give me a prompt. It's not my favorite terminal. I installed putty term too, but it won't even launch.
Also, flash won't work. I've tried pepper flash on chromimum but it doesn't install or run. I can't watch Hulu+ without it.
If anybody can offer any thoughts on how fix the LXTerm and flash, please
don't hesitate to chime in. But remember, this is for an armhf system. It's like the Raspberry Pi, but 8x as fast.
