I am challenged right now with my only access being stuck behind a
shitty filter and I was hoping I could get a little help. Now, I am a
retro geek and love a challenge, but this sucks.
Think of it like a desert island scenario, if you will. Say you only
had ftp and telnet, as if you got time warped back to the nineties
(but you have Windows10 - meh) and had to start from scratch. What
tools do you use?
Currently I found a win32 telnet program called mTelnet, but it
doesn't support TLS encryption, so I can't even talk to smtp/imap.gmail.com. What would you do? What software is essential?
How do you get basic email services?

Thanks for the advice, this helps. I was able to get syncTerm and netRunner. Still looking for a link or other help getting an email
client because of the filter...
