It's pretty cool what OS/2 was able to do.

    I really Like OS/2! :D

I used OS/2 Warp for a time, but there was little application support from companies. Too bad, too. The UI was a lot more flexible than Windows and just had an all-round better look to it.

OS/2 also seemed to multitask very well.

If you were happy with Lotus 1-2-3, Lotus Notes and WordPerfect, you
    were set!

I had a copy of Word and Excel for OS/2, written back for OS/2 1.x. I
think Warp 3 broke compatibility with them.

If your BBS had OS/2 native binaries, you were in luck. I ran Maximus,
Squish and BinkleyTerm for OS/2, and they ran well in a single console
    window.

For a little while, in 1997, I was tinkering with an OS/2 BBS package called AdeptXBBS. I remember it having a GUI BBS monitor, or at least a GUI configurator program. I thought it looked interesting, though I didn't do much with it, as I was already running a BBS with different software (RemoteAccess) and didn't really feel like switching.

It was Windows, but I used Lotus SmartSuite for a while at an old job
    I had. Really liked it!

I'm an Apple user now, so it's Pages, Keynote and Numbers for me...

Maybe I'll see if that other is still out there... hmm... The journal
(can't remember what it's called) was very cool at the time... (a day
planner type of thing, but all digital)

I remember when skeuomorphism was all the rage - e-book apps that look
like bookcases, planners that looked like paper planners... A friend of
mine had a web site that used a handwriting font and the background
image was of loose-leaf binder paper. :|

That brings back memories of the office suites people put together to
try and compete with Microsoft Office. Didn't they bundle WordPerfect,
    1-2-3 and Organizer together?
