    Does anyone know of any groups with discussions going on? I have a
    couple (alt.smokers.pipes, misc.survivalism, alt.sysadmin.recovery, alt.alt.alt.alt.alt, and alt.folklore.computers that get a trickle of
    traffic, was hoping to add a couple of more on there.

    a lot of the comp. groups seem to have traffic.

    the busiest ones I carry are comp.lang.c, comp.lang.c++, comp.lang.javascript, comp.sys.mac.system, comp.lang.forth, comp.protocols.time.ntp, comp.arch, and comp.theory

    this is going by the size of my nntp smb directory, I used to have grafana logs/statistics set up that kept track of the busiest areas but that appears to be broken right now. not sure how long it's been since it worked :)
