I upgraded my new project BBD from 112a24_l64 to 112a25_l64 and found
that all echomail coming in was being processed as a dupe. The dupe header showed something like:
@DUPE AREATAG 46:1/107 46:1/107.1
I purged the echos and tried again. I downgraded to a24.. rescanned the hub and all were imported as expected.. I then purged the echos again.. upgraded back to a25.. rescanned the hub.. all messages were processed
as dupes again.. and this time I had even set dupe database size to 0 in the ini file.
--sorry for the misspellings.. if I were posting from Mystic those misspelled owrlkds would have been nixed!
I think g00r00 was trying to work around some dupes that were showing up in a few places.. Maybe A26 will fix that but I'm sure it'll be fixed soon anyway.

Yeah that version doesn't work with point downlinks, use the MUTIL from A24. I should have made a note in the upgrade but I failed to, sorry about that.
No worries.. I love all the features and rapid development of mis.. exploring and experimenting with new software is my favorite part of our hobby. I only wish I would have tried mystic sooner.

I just thought I'd mention it just in case no one had noticed as I
hadn't seen any comments about about it. I always like to say... you can't fix it if you don't know it's broke.
I've been running Synchronet for several years. The only reason I installed Mystic was to get familiar with it so that I could better help the new nodes on CombatNet. Now that I am getting familiar with Mystic
I see that I've been missing out. I really like it!

That's a tough choice. I have a serious bent towards synchronet, MBSE and a couple of others too.. but I find Mystic is such a comfortable fit for me and I like the fact that it is actively developed and supported.. :)
I'm going to continue running EWBBS on Synchronet and my new board on Mystic. This way I get to experince both packages develope. Sycnchronet
is stil being developed too, but the Dev's seem to have taken a break to enjoy the summer months.. who can blame them!
I may be taking some time off in September, so maybe it'll work out perfectly.
