Ah. In that case, and don't quote me on this.. I believe Bym and his girlfriend
went to Brazil to visit Enzo (Luciano). After hanging out one late night, they parted ways (Luciano and his girlfriend went home, Fredrick (Bym) and his girlfriend went back their hotel). In the morning, Fredrick got up early and went for a swim by himself, got sucked under by the current and drowned. At least I think that's what I remember being said.

Yes, something like that. I didn't really want to comment about his death
since I didn't know BYM and don't know how many people knew the details or whether they were comfortable with them being spread around. It's damn tragic though - for it to end like that on vacation when everything is (I'm assuming from little details we've heard) going really great.

Not knowing BYM, my heart especially goes out to Enzo who, while I'm not "close" to, is definitely someone I have a lot of respect and admiration for. To have someone you've known for ages travel half way around the world to
visit you and then randomly lose their life like that - it can't be easy. I'm sure there was at least a little weight of responsibility on his conscience, and that's on top of having to be involved in contacting authorities, family, getting the body back home, and all kinds of other horrible shit he must have had to be at least loosely involved with in the wake. Ugh.

BYM was an incredible artist and if there is one thing I hope people take
away from those tributes its that he definitely made a major impression on
fans of ANSI art and the best artists out there alike.

I think at first it was mentioned privately, but now that the B7 pack is out and is mostly a memorial for him, I figured it would be fine to let people know
that were interested.

Yeah, that had to be hard. I went through my dad passing away back in '13, and even though I hadn't talked to him in almost a decade, it was hard enough. Then
on top of it having to go through all his stuff as well as finances to make sure his mom would continue to be taken care of. So I can definitely relate to at least some of what he went through. The situation itself had to have been a complete shocker, and then dealing with family whom you have no idea who they are, etc.. is unreal. :(

Sure does man. I had a step-dad die when I was 13 (was more of a father to me than my own, ie: fishing, baseball coach, helped me build things, etc). He was only like 36-37. Three cancerous brain tumors. It was caught early and the doctors gave him about 6 months to live. He made it a year and a half leaving my mom, me, and two of his own children with my mom (I think only 3 and 5 at the time) :(

My dad went at 53, of a massive heart attack in his sleep (at least he was sleeping, I suppose). No prior family history of death that young, so I'm guessing (and with a little proof of what I saw at his house and in his car) he
wasn't taking very good care of himself. :(

It sucks, but that's life I guess.

Ugh, yeah. Damn man! Both horrible situations, though the step dad one is a
bit more of a gut punch to me. Might not have been to you at the time though.
I lost both of my grand fathers when I was younger, one was quite expected (long, drawn out battle with cancer) but the other was more sudden and
tramatic (also complications from cancer - both dudes smoked like it was
going out of style) but I wasn't really super close to either. My dad has diabetes and has already had his first brush with cancer. I'm sure bad news
is just around the corner... *sigh*
